I agree. You'll be just fine! I thought my M7060 was too big at first. Now not at all. Lol. I sure could use an M62. Maybe in the next few years I'll get one of those. Who knows

Hey - - there are times I wish I had a different size tractor. Weaving around, among & between my ancient Ponderosa pines - like to have a B-series Kubota. Up on the high pasture with my disk harrow - wish I had a 250 hp tractor and appropriately sized disk harrow.

My M6040 is about the best compromise - size & power wise - that I could find. "A man has got to recognize his limitations"

The way I looked at it was, I knew that as soon as I got the tractor, I'd find more and more things that I needed to use it for (not that the list was short in the first place). If I'd chosen a tractor just for the jobs I knew I had before, it wouldn't be long before I was pushing the limits of the machine.
Buying a bit bigger & tougher gave me a year or two more headroom before I need to get a really bigger one!

YEah... the poster does go into something I found out after a few years on the farm & ranch as a newb... we now have a 17hp... 4 wheel, then added a L2550 4wheel w/ FEL and backhoe, and now the new M6060 w/ forks and FEL. My short answer is that you need the appropriate size for the appropriate job. I cannot imagine not having the flexibility we have now. You don't grab the Hammer to turn a screw . Get the B or something you need for the small(er) jobs. Always fun to hit the auctions and estate sales for those tween'r rides and implements.

I think you did a GREAT job on your selection for what it's worth. I was on the MX58 too until I said WTF and went M6060..
IMO and YMMV.
