Here is a video of my Furguson TO35 Plowing a heavy wet snow with a 6' Fisher Plow on a custom mount I built... Engine mounted the Fisher Truck Hydraulic Pump to run the plow independent of the Tractor hydraulics....
Did a complete engine overhaul since this video.

New Front Chains plus I bought another set. I snapped up the latest chains n Amazon. A warehouse special deal.
I Just put a cheap set of Chinese knock offs on the tractor. They should last 3-4 good storms.
The new chains are supposedly manganese alloy steel. We will see if they stand up better.

Another year, another few pounds of weld metal in the old plow.
These look mean and expensive!

Update 11-20-18:
We got + 6" of snow as we are at 1,000 ft. Elev.
My sweetie has the week off, so she did 2 hours of plowing. I came home from work and plowed for another 2-1/2 hours.
It is going to get cold and the wet snow would to to ice chunk, so I cleaned up well.
I plow too much area.

Area between house and equipment building is 85' x 200' =17,000 ft^2 (Miserable without a snow pusher or Blower.)
Along side house and garage is 40' x 150' =6000 ft^2. ft^2 (A snow pusher would be good for part of this, plow for remainder.)
Back of house and kennel area is 2000 ft^2 (Good plow work)
Area by lean-to is about 1,500 ft^2 (Good snow pusher work)
Road around barn & up to Manure Pile is 300' X 12' = 3,600 ft^2 (Good plow work)
Turn around area at Barn is about 1,600 ft^2 (A snow pusher would be good for part of this, plow for remainder.)
driveway is 1200' x 12' =24,000 ft^2 (Fairly easy plowing with the old Fisher, Good plow work)

Total of 55,700 ft^2, more than an acre!

I wish I had a snow pusher, better yet two good size cabbed tractors one with snow pusher on front, blower on rear.
Then I wish my L39 would grow into an M59 with cab & a 9' V plow.

Just finished oiling the tractor the other day with both Carwell and Fluid Film. I have the new snow pusher (w/back drag) on as the new snow weapon for this year along with the snowblower.

860 with 4wd is a very rare Sherman Napco conversion. Very few of them in existance. I also have a Ford 841 with the Elenco 4wd conversion that is a major project. Here are the two old 4wd tractors side by side.

Sharp eyes on spotting the Shelby clone behind the Kubota. Here is a better view.

That sure looks like a Dana differential. It would be neat to see a description/pictures of how that conversion was accomplished.

I have copies of brochures of the conversion that show where the chain drive for the front axle gets it power. The front axle is a closed knuckle Dana.

I found a picture of the 860 with the rear snowblower I used for a few years.

Doing an up grade to a 9'6" Fisher XV2 blade. I'm getting it put together right now.

So far this is all I have for pics.
The blade is together in the shop and I'm making the "hitch" for the tractor and some rigid stops so that the angle cylinders are not supporting the pushing load while retracted. For some reason this is an option of $220! The old blade I've been running has been worked hard and is "tweeked" pretty badly, still works but it's time.
Here's the old plow.

The frame broke in half a year or 2 ago and that was a just a welding job mostly, now the moldboard's have a twist to them and it's getting tired.

Most of the welding is done and after some primer & paint I'll have some pics of the new blade.

Neat rig. Please post pics or a video of that beast in action when you get a good pile of snow. I would think chains are a must with those tires.

Here is a short video of the clean up of the little 5in storm we had the day before turkey day. I have to say my dad likes the Dick Cepek tires much better on the snow that the ag bar tires. The machine slides around much less even without chains. The real test will be tomorrow with the 12-14 we are suppose to get.

Nice video gaproperty, a little this and that. I had 3 small snow storms for me so far in Nov to plow. My setup bout like your tractor and plow except I dont take my bucket off, just wish the ground would freeze so's not keep digging into the driveway. You get behind on firewood detail this year or do you always get firewood in the snow for immediate use, or was doing that just for the thrill of being outside?
