How do you find those "four" shoes working out for you?

My goal was that anything that I have that can fit the 3pt hitch on the rear will work on the front. ex: yard/rock rake now can be used on the front as well, subsoiler as well..great when ripping roots from a bank and then raking it..

I don't have anything like that on my FEL. Is it a plow mount? Looks pretty heavy duty.

Only think I have on my FEL is a bucket or the JD forks.
I did modify the forks so they could be easily picked up with the iMatch quick hitch.

I'm hoping they will work well. I just put this setup together so haven't plow with it yet. It should ride on the shoes keeping the cutting edge from digging in when the ground isn't frozen. I saw this type setup on another members tractor plow build. Sitting on the shoes the cutting edge is 1/2" above the ground. If I plow a paved lot or driveway I can adjust the shoe levels to lower the cutting edge.

Ok, whats a "turf bar".

A piece of slit pipe over the cutting edge.
Mine was like 1.5" thin-wall steel pipe.
PVC might hold up for a season, I dunno.

I've heard that pvc is too brittle in the cold weather. I've used ABS pipe on both my bucket and blade. I need a new one on my bucket and it won't be long until the one on my blade needs to be replaced also. But I got a season out of the blade and 1 1/2 on the bucket, all for $10.

A little closer to being ready. It's in the shop at work for a couple enhancements and paint. The skids have an added 3/8" of wear bar stitched on. The chute mechanisms have been modified so the up/down will be done with a linear actuator, and left/right will be done with a motor. Hope to get it painted early next week. Wiring is done and tested on the tractor end.

Sure hope so. The motor is in the link below. I couldn't slow it down trying to hold it back. Should have it together to try it within the next two weeks. The paint is a catalyzed enamel and has a 7-day cure time.
