Another reason to not let your fuel tank get low is the fuel lubricates the fuel pump that's in the tank. Run the tank low long enough and your fuel pump quits sooner than normal!

I stopped into the local convenience store and somebody was trying to jimmy the door to the clerk's Cherokee . It turns out that the guy worked for her boyfriend and she had locked her keys in so I did what I could to help. After about 10 minutes I decided to try a different approach and started checking doors. The first two were locked, but the passenger rear door opened and I was in like Flynn. :thumbsup:
I never have that kind of luck. The passenger doors of both my personal and company truck are bent where I had to break in. Now each has a hidden key; AAA is useless when your phone is locked into the truck.

As a kid when I worked for a Dealership... one of the things I was to do was open all the cars on the Used Lot and start them...

At that time, we left the keys in the car during the day and policy was to roll down driver's window about a 1/4 of the way down... just enough to reach in should the door become locked.

in that case he was "laying in wait" and any self defense goes right out the window. Another similar case where the guy was waiting in a garage and shot a perp...also fouind guilty.

That's amazing...

Because someone walking away from you unarmed carrying your stolen apple who refuses to stop (perp may be deaf!) can legally be killed.
