My $10 toolbox from HD is watertight as far as I can tell. It's been out in the rain a few times and no wet inside.

Got a little light in the front end today. Dug up a small tree (about 2' tall) and left it with the root ball in the BH bucket to move to the new location. That was enough to upset the balance and I saw the front wheels come off the ground briefly while climbing a small slope. FEL was on with the bucket just above the ground.

Moved very carefully until I got back to level ground.

scoop up something with the FEL next time ;)

Used the BH for a big rake. Ha been cutting some brush with a field and brush mower. Some of the Blackberry scrap had piled up against a couple of small trees and got all wound up like barbed wire. Didn't really want to try and grab hold of it all with my arms. Got the BH in position to hook on and pull the mess out. First time I wished I had a grapple, or at least a thumb.

Did the 50.

All three filters came off easily, once I got the right wrenches in place. Went ahead a drained the Hyd Oil since I already had a bucket. Kinda glad I did based on the color of it. Just a bit of 'stuff' on the drain plug magnet, but not bad.

Then ran it for an hour or so to do a firewood run. Everything seemed to work fine, not jerkiness. I'll have to check the fluids again tomorrow to top them off.

Digging it-what trans/hyd fluid did you refill with? I’ll be doing the 50 on my XR4155HC as soon as snow lifts in the spring-I was considering Shell Rotella HD, Travellers Premium...

Picked this guy up from the freight drop. Just waiting for 3rd function kit to arrive, plumb it up and hopefully be using it tomorrow evening. Oh yeah!!!

Nice! I've found a set of pallet forks at a reasonable price, going this evening to pick them up, pics tomorrow! I'm planning on buying or building something that will hold pallets, and putting what implements I have that will work on a pallet up on the rack. Save space that way. I'm also thinking I may try to incorporate the rack into a side wall for a storage building for my tractor, as the one I'm storing it in right now isn't tall enough to keep the ROPS up, and it's too much trouble or I'm too lazy, to take it up and down all the time

Pallet forks next for me. Trying to talk myself into the hydraulic versions....but dang....they are pricey. I'm not sure the convenience out weighs the cost yet.

That's what I used. Not sure if your size machine needs something different.

I can use the travelers as it meets the spec-i was curious as to how it was performing more than anything else.

Thanks

hey I meant to ask, what 3rd function kit did you order? I'm looking at one by Bailey International for $449, and the EA kit for $837. The EA kit is tractor specific as they include the hoses. I know hoses won't cost $200 each though....
