I can use the travelers as it meets the spec-i was curious as to how it was performing more than anything else.

Thanks
It's only been a few days and less than 10 hours, so I can't say for sure. I had an issue of the FEL drooping overnight, but that might have been the system not being fully purged yet.

a few pics of the pallet forks I picked up yesterday...already putting them to good use, as we bought a couple of big presents for the grown up kids. Wrapped them with black plastic, and left them on a pallet. I'll move them from the garage to beside the porch tomorrow afternoon when the kids get here for dinner and Christmas celebration

My local dealer ordered a kit for me. Turns out it was a WR Long kit for the LS tractors. It was the same price as Everything Attachments when you order an attachment plus the 3rd function. So the local dealer earned a little bit of money which I am OK with.

Scary. Looks like something I'd do.

pretty sure that falls under the 'why women live longer than men' category

Cat's are not the only ones with nine lives. I should have been maimed or dead a thousand different times.

Phew! Dang. Four trips to the hardware store to get the right fittings and a longer hydraulic hose....and BAM! Im'ma grapplin'.

I picked up 55 gallon barrels, large wooden spools, literally tons of tree brush, and one steel frame press. Oh and unloaded a rolling tool box for my buddy from his wife for Christmas.

Nice! I've been looking at the 3rd function valve kit from Bailey International, can order it for $449. comes with everything except the hoses, but, I've found premade hydraulic hoses online that would make a total cost under $600 and I'm adding in that I'll need a few fittings of course. So that's a couple hundred dollars less than the WR Long kit from anywhere I've seen it....

papachaz - I know you will love it.

The W.R. Long kit is plug and play...as long as there is no backhoe. My LS was sold with a backhoe attached. Soooooo....mine already had adapters attached to the power beyond port and the hydraulic reservoir, and the long length of hose provided was too short. Next the quick couplers from W.R. Long were the same size as other connectors on the tractor so that was good. However...not knowing my tractor had 1/2" couplers on the 3/8" hoses caused me to order 3/8" couplers with the grapple. So it took lots of back and forth to figure out the couplers, snd get 1/2" quick couplers on the grapple hoses.

The W.R. Long kit includes a heavy mounting bracket for the valve. I had to flip that around, drill two new holes, and move a little anti-rotation tab that is bent 90 degrees. Lastly I flipped around the front bracket that attaches to the FEL cross tube up front. Otherwise the bracket mount routes the hoses in a way that interferes with the front grille guard. Both of these brackets are good and heavy, probably 1/4" plate.
