What have you done to your Branson today?

What brand mower is that? I've never seen one.

This is in Portugal. So things are a bit different here. This is the common mower over here.

We don't use the rear supporting wheel and we use chains instead of blades most of the times. We also have hydraulic side shifting ones.

As far as brands, there is Galucho, Herculano, Agriduarte, Agroramoa and a couple more, mostly Portuguese brands. Mine is made by a fabrication shop that builds tractor implements, called Antonio Rosa Serralharia.

I needed a way to distribute a load evenly between the FEL and the 3 point hitch while taking 1800 lbs of concrete down to the bottom of the property so I made this "modification."

Let's push this thread up again.

Today was time to use the tiller on a small 15,000 sq ft piece of land. The owner wants to grow a pasture for his dwarf goats.

Here are some pictures of the first half. It was already very dark when I finished the other half of the land.

The Branson as usual handled it just perfectly, even though the soil was really compact and hard. Going around all the trees was the tricky part but I finished without any major causalities (tractors lights and branches).

This was my 4020R's first day of work a couple weekends ago. Moved some IHC project vehicles around so I could extract the boat out of the shop (for sale, and to facilitate cleaing a bunch of junk out make room for the tractor). The green 4 door pickup has the rear brakes locked up (despite the parking brake being left OFF during storage).

It also has about 1000 lbs of scrap iron/steel in the bed (adding to the 6000+ lbs weight of the truck). The 4020R didn't care. Used a crossbar type draw bar in the 3pt arms with a shackle in the center to lift/pull a chain attached to the truck frame (passed through an old truck tire/wheel as a bumper). Lifted the rear up to where the tires were almost clear of the ground and dragged the rig to where it needed to be.


Since then, I've been moving junk from around the shop (30 years worth of it), moving pallets of pavers, hauling truck parts, moving a 25kw standby generator, and prepping the areas around and leading up to the shop for grading and rock. Will be getting a LOT of use out of the box blade....

I love those old International Crew Cab Pickups and the Scouts... and the Scout IIs. Rugged vehcles!
