I'm running a 1/16" fixed restrictor on my grapple and it has a single 2" cylinder.

If I would decide on a fixed restrictor, I just don’t know which way to go, 1/16 or 1/32 for the bucket two cylinders. This is why I will probably go with a needle valve.
You do use only one restrictor for your dual acting cylinder, right?

If you start with the 1/32" like I did, you can always go bigger and they drill out easily. Yes, I only restricted on one side of the cylinder.

Does this WFC-8 controls both lines like a needle valve? Just asking because the questions asked on this item points out that it only controls one side unless it is coupled with an actuators, whatever that is.

This valve restricts flow one way and on one line only. I installed mine based on info posted here by others who had what is called bucket flop condition. I posted a short vid of the bucket flop problem and installing the WFC-8 solved my problem. If you install one on the hyd. line that feeds your tilt you can adjust the flow to make it tilt slower without affecting other functions. If you want to slow down curl up and curl down then you need two valves.
