Thanks,
I'm looking forward to being done. I have not been out on my sled yet......getting a "fever" I think.

Maybe you are not, but I'm amazed your home is almost done. It has probably seemed like "forever" to you.

Someone is trying to build a new convenience store/truck stop on the way to work since like September, but it has been a mud fest. All they have done is the slab of just the building and 3 sides of masonry. It just keeps on raining them out. I hope they don't go broke on the construction loan and have some bad weather clauses in the contract.

Glad to hear a progress report. You appear to take these delays in stride. In construction that's a valuable characteristic.....

I'm a logic minded person. I don't deal with non logistical delays. We are starting the inside work now. HVAC is next. Then I'll start electrical. I'll be very stressed over the next two months. Still shooting for 1 April move in date.

Looking forward to hearing that you are in!!!

We had a 4 wheelin gathering at the farm on Sunday. It was good to mentally get away from construction for a few hours!!!

Thanks Richard,

This is what I'm really looking forward to the most. Although I still have a ton of work to get the place how we want it. These include fencing, hay shed, equipment shed, guest house, etc. Not even looking forward to yard stuff.

We do not even have any furniture. We gave everything away from our last house, starting new.

Are the appliances special order or produced in low quantity runs?

Two months seems like a very long time but then there are appliances and there are APPLICANCES...

Thanks for sharing the progress, sounds like the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.
I love the fireplace, interested to hear how that works for you.

The problem happened about 2 weeks ago when we said "ok" deliver. They found the cook top was the wrong one and the washing machine had damage to the finish. They have been unable to get another cook top. Nothing is that out of the ordinary. We ordered everything based on floor models we seen at their store.

Thanks, I'm very excited to use the fireplace. For the money it better be as good as the first night of my honeymoon.
