Blew up Kubota motor

So what's the status of the tractor with the blown engine? Did it get rebuilt? was hoping to see some pics...did I miss a something?

Thanks I found what I had missed...had mostly been checking the thread when I saw your moniker...forgot I was out of town for a week about then and it slipped me by...

I always loved that smell of a new rebuild when they first get hot...there's a special place in my heart for the smell of (original) Permatex #1 and #2... and the smell when they first get hot...!

Really!!! 2 and half months... that news is real tempting for another one. Gonna check with my LGS.

On the temp vs. permanent credit, I had a couple merchant disputes and three or four fraud charges. In every case my CC bank posted me temp credit the day I called and it always became permanent. I wouldn't fret it... just let the CC folks handle it. They deal with it all the time.

FYI LD1 the credit card company never eats it. The merchant eats it. Trust me I know, we're a merchant and every now and then get a chargeback and there's very little we can do to defend against them.

Id like to say I dont really care who eats it, as long as it isnt me.

But that still aint right. They (merchant WKYTP) screwed up, and sent the wrong part. THATS on them.....

That seems to be happening more & more these days or actually this month & next..
I was at the Post Office yesterday & a man infront of me was getting his $24.70 refunded because his letter didn't arrive "over-nite"..
It was my turn next & I wanted to ship a package over-nite.. The women said, no can do.. HUH??
She said this time of year we cant guarantee over-nite delivery. I said send it the fastest way possible.. She said>> That would be "OVER-NITE"
delivery.. but it'll be there FRIDAY..!!! {it was Wendsday} & it cost me 60.00.!!!

Having some usps experience, should have just regular mailed it unless you needed special service such as registered, insurance, etc.

That's what I have found too. Special service is really hit or miss, while regular service is sometimes a pleasant surprise.

I'd commit it all to paper and drop it in an envelope addressed to the McCracken County Attorney's Office.

No guarantees, but who knows?
