Hi, I have a Craftsman 125 PSI 3 gallon air compressor. Is it capable of topping off my tires? I have a Kubota M5640.

Thanks

yes, I only run around 12# of air in mine

Yes but it’s going to take a while. I recommend running the fronts at max pressure and leaving the rears alone unless there’s a problem. You don’t want the rear tires inflated more than necessary because they ride better and have more traction at lower pressures.

It will take forever due to the volume of air needed, but it will fill.

Thanks Man... I think I'm noticing low pressure in the rear tires. The tractor is 6 yo and I haven't even put a gauge on them. I'm planning a number of scheduled maintenance tasks for spring.

When I filled the tires on my Ford I used my little HF 1 gallon compressor to air them back up. I had plenty of time to work on other things while it was pumping, but it got the job done. If I were filling them completely with air I would have had to roll out the big one.

I have a 5 gallon/125 PSI Craftsman air compressor. Its worked just great for me for 30+ years. I run just enough pressure in the rears to get full bar contact across the entire rear tread - about 16 PSI. Run max pressure in the front tires.
