I went back to my original dealer to buy the PSU. Newer farmers coop dealer kept not returning my calls, mechanic not at work today, etc. They do more parts volume. Part already back yesterday. Getting it today.
My new one (PSU) has Orings and is really tight. Shaft doesnt turn easily like the one I took out. I hope that means the oil seals are tight!
WOW! Well like everything else in this country that you "have to use or have" the cost is inflated. I'll bet they're making little to no profit on these "new" filters. I just bought 4 of the "old" type "500 hr." oil filters at $25.00 each with free shipping via USPS. If you haven't installed that "new" filter yet, I'd take it down to a NAPA parts store (or the like), have them measure it and I'll bet they'd have a NAPA Gold, WIX or a Donaldson etc. filter. I buy and use the NAPA Gold air filters, primary and secondary, and are a little less expensive than the "factory name brand".It's good to have a decent dealer, who at least returns your phone calls. The dealer that's the closest to me is high priced. I just bought a new engine oil filter, PN 006016642V91. It's the new filter Mahindra says I should use on a 2555 HST. It cost $45.94, which $15.75 was shipping and taxes. $30.19 is too much for an oil filter that looks like a Fram. Just like these PS units that leak, Mahindra needs to Americanize and get with the program.

To close this thread out for me, I bought HSU and installed it. No leaks but R and L were reversed. Fixed that. Started another thread to describe HSU replacement
New one certainly feels tighter. I thought about shipping you my old one and the two seals I bought. One of my sons in law is a mechanical engineer and a grandson is pretty mechanically minded. I may see if they want to try putting it back together. Keep us up to date on either thread
