Ck2610 loader vs kl4030 loader

I was thinking the same thing. Like i said the dealer an hour away has the new loader floor matt and horn and is $600 less. I am willing to pay more to have my dealer 10 minutes away but i really want the bigger loader.

I would just tell the local dealer that you are going to buy one with the KL4030 loader and ask him if he wants to sell you one or if you need to go elsewhere. Put it in his lap. If he wants to keep up the line of BS then move on.

As I understand it they are transitioning over to the KL4030. It is the same frame as the higher hp tractors so it can handle the higher capacity loader. Changing over commonizes the loader with the other models.

Sounds like what Massey did going from the DL100 loader to the new stronger DL95 loader, I had the dealer take the DL100 off and install the DL95 before delivery.. OP I would tell the dealer what loader you want.

You are probably looking at an older machine. Kioti standardized on the KL4030 for all the CK ~1 year ago. Prior to that, the CK3510 & 4010 got the KL4010 (same specs just about as current KL4030), but you could not get that on a CK2610 - it had it's own, lower rated loader. The KL4010 would have been an upgrade (as the KL4030 is today) to what you were able to put on a CK2610 about a year ago or before. People were asking to have them that way and being told "NO" or "it would void your warranty".

Look up the specs, make sure you have correct model #s.....I could be remembering wrong, but CK2610 never had a better loader than KL4010/KL4030. It was the opposite, but now you can have the KL4030. A loader that would "void the warranty" a year ago is basically standard option today. hmmmm.....

Yes dealer an hour away has the 2610 withe the kl4030 loader . Thats my Guess is my local dealer 10 minutes away must be trying to get rid of old stock. I would not be apposed to the smaller loader if the price was right as it is the closer dealer with the smaller loader is $600 higher.

You might be able to still order the 2610 loader and the 4030 is an upgrade - I don't know. I just know you can at least have same loader as bigger brothers get now where you could not in the past. But no brainer $600 more + the smaller loader is a bad deal. Either use that other quote to leverage closer dealer into something more reasonable or go with the other guy.

But - be sure to understand all that's included in price. Free delivery, free loaded rears, free 1st service, free pickup/deliver for any warranty work, etc...if the +$600 dealer has all that & other one has none....those things have value too. Apples:apples.

That's to bad, you are in between a rock and hard place. For some people an hour away means something but for me and hour is nothing, everywhere I go is at least that no matter were I'm going so the hour wouldn't bother me at all..

I would go with the higher capacity loader! I have a 2610 with the KL2610 loader that I got maybe 6 months before they started using the KL4030 loader. Had I known they were going to start making it standard, I likely would have waited to get the tractor. The KL2610 isn’t a bad loader, but I wish it lifted more lots of times.

I can confirm this. I was in the tractor market a year ago, and trying to convince my dealer to upgrade a CK2610 to a KL4010 loader. Some dealers would do so, mine would not, with the problem being that warranty service would be an issue. Then one day I grabbed a new pamphlet while waiting in line for something and saw that the KL4030 was standard on all CKs. The dealer hadn't heard about, nobody here had heard about it, but I asked the dealer to call Kioti to confirm and apparently they made the switch for the entire line. I can only imagine (no evidence for this, just speculation) that like myself many prospective buyers were leaning toward the LS equivalent's 1600lb lift capacity and away from the relatively anemic 1200-ish for the CK2610 with the KL2610 loader. The frames on all the CKs are the same.

Do not buy the tractor with the KL2610 unless you have little need for loader lifting capacity and are able to extract a hefty discount from the dealer ($600 is not enough, in my estimation). You could always wait until the dealer unloaded his last KL2610 on someone who lacks the wherewithal to check in with TBN prior to purchasing, then buy new stock. Then again, maybe this experience is worth considering in terms of your choice of dealer.

I am shopping and compairing tractors and have gotten down to the ck2610 and another Brand. The question as im getting quotes is my local dealer is telling me the 2610 loader is a heavier and therefore stronger loader then the kl4030. This dealer owns 3 kioti dealerships and is 10 minutes from me. Another dealer an hour away has same tractor with the kl4030 and is $500 cheaper. I am willing to spend the extra to have my dealer close just not sure about the loader story?
So dealer just got a shipment of new ck2610 with the new loaders. It is evident that he was trying to get rid of the last of his old stock.
