Ya ankles and pets are not safe
too funny, the snowblower on my Gravely garden tractor that was designed back at the same time, same
super durable construction, they called the snowblower the DogEater. Horrible name, but apparently a dog or two
met its fate in one of these things. Perhaps inadequate shielding, some change in design happened.
So yes, some times your pets really aren't safe if they like bounding around you in the snow.
I sold my Gravely snowblower to a TBN member when I moved South, almost priceless thing because they are all coveted in
some Gravely Nut's collection. I bet the other Ugly Betties in this world are still chugging along.
Built to a small tractor standard, not a lawn mower. Look at Ugly Betty's front axle. Now there's a chunk
of iron...
This old stuff, particularly with modern engine upgrades,
is a great deal of fun to use. Mine I like most because it has a hand clutch exactly like the JD B I grew up with.
Just an old mechanical version of a back forth hydro pedal.
External totally visible dry clutch pads you could change in a few minutes.
No need for dealer...
Some times I think some of these older ways were better.
Now you can only rely on fault code readers.
