My previous 13” straight blade was quite loud. I think it is all or mostly in the cutterhead. It is maybe a bit louder than my bandsaw or drillpress. Quiet compared to a router or table saw

Is it the 12' wide goods or the 6' wide inlaid vinyl flooring?
The reason I ask is I installed a lot of roll balance Armstrong Inlaid flooring in my rentals over the years and have to say it has been outstanding all around... some of it 30 years old now and no complaints...
Did a garage once with the 6' goods and it was for cars... every night two cars parked and no problems.
Can't say I have seen much new residential going in... mostly wood flooring or some variety of tile... maybe 80% and then carpet...
One seam and I thought the room was 20x25..so i would have said 10??
I will have to check
I wanted something that the broom would just ‘float’ over. All of the machines are on slide pads to cut down on dents etc
(Jointer has a mobility kit coming in the mail)
Very happy
Started to make something useful out of the scrap piles of end mills/bits etc. (well at least I repurposed one endmill!)
I was finally able to get some quality coal (500lb) and figured I’d try my hand at making a knife. Now I have an excuse to get 2x72” belt sander!
I left a bit thick, I didn’t want to burn it.
Next to start profiling/grinding
Bit of scrap cleanup and pulled ugly Betty out of deep storage to get it ready for sickle bar and front weed cutter. Forgot it had high/low and hydraulic lift
