I competed in a contest Budweiser put on and won a trip to the Budweiser shootout where I would compete to be the grand marshal. They valued the prize at 8 grand. I think tax on prize winnings was something like 30%. I forfeted and let the runner up have it. The main reason was they wouldn't allow me to take my under age daughter. I could have bought tickets and hotel for less than the taxes.

OK I just called a dealer in California,Im in Louisiana 6pm 3 hours difference in time.He stated they started this contest in Feb but did not know who won.Said to contact USA headquarters.Not going to do that.Maybe legit who knows.Take care gentlemen,and Ladies.

The rules allow the winner 30 days to pickup their prize tractor. They may be waiting until the winner actually signs all the legal contest paperwork (and the tax forms) in order to release their names. Just in case the winners read the fine print and decline the prize.

the fine print was a killer!.. no money to pay the taxes, and they get to use you for advertising?.. I've seen much better..
