Where would you put a drain pan under the gear box? I just use a simple oil extraction pump I got on Amazon.
Low & on the side (above the deck) would be great. With the he!! they catch, I like to flush them out periodically.

I know WOODS offers a stump jumper that is an "add on" to the blade holder bar. Bolts on with straps that go over the blade holder, then longer pins to account for stump jumper thickness/gauge.
I do not see it as a disadvantage or advantage
I put guide wheels on my mower. They serve two purposes. When mowing, they keep the skids from digging in and chewing up the ground. I can set the mower all the way down and have it float over the terrain. In the barn they allow the whole mower to roll, so I can push it around. It's much easier for me to move the mower to the tractor than the other way around.
Thank you for your contribution. Noted.
Best regards.
Hopefully this thread is near the end of it's useless life!
The drain plug thread is hilarious, and much more enjoyable.
When stumpjumper gets cracked, you have to change blade holder either because they are welded to each other. With this way, you can decrease your maintenance cost.
That is what gives them strength...being welded together.
