Nice to see what the engine is doing. Put in tee so I could keep the idiot light as well. This is pressure at about 1000 rpm warm.

First I always wear long pants when I’m on a tractor. Too many opportunities for injuries that long pants can protect you from. And before I mounted the gauge I got on the tractor and tried out different mounting options. The one I picked I felt gave me the best visibility of the gauge and wasn’t in the way of anything on the tractor or on me. I’m 6 foot and 290 pounds and wear a size 12 boot so I’m not exactly small. But there is no way I can position my left leg to come in contact with the gauge. So for me it’s great. And on all of my equipment that has an engine I have oil pressure gauges installed. Not only do I not like to rely on idiot lights I also like to use the gauge to monitor overall engine health, along with engine temperature they can tell you a lot about what’s going on inside.

If there is no way to maneuver your leg to hit it then your good.

I know these tractors can be a bit cramped. I am 6'2" tall. I use to weigh 210 but lost weight so now I'm a little under 190.

I throw my leg over the hood to get off usually

If I tried to throw my leg over the hood to get off the tractor I’d need medical attention
