the joys of a buddy seat. My neighbor, a paid fireman, engineer, good with tractors and big equipment, gave him go ahead to give
his son a ride. Neighbor has new 3 series open JD, but wife likes this because son is inside and can't fall off. Well he can but not going far...
Too young for seat, first a friend and then mom used the buddy seat, which is pretty darned hard actually, not very comfortable.
Wondering if I could fit a rubber pad to it.

Daugen or puddie do you guys use a quick hitch for rear implements? My dealer sold me a land pride quick hitch and woods implements. I know it shouldn’t matter the brands but I am having a **** of a time. What do you guys use?

My LP Quick Hitch is Cat One and I haven't had much luck with it honestly, plus it can add length to your rig. Which if you just fit in the barn/garage is an issue.
Even QH compatible equipment, big labels right on them, didn't seem to line up easily, always seemed tight. Now with the detachable pin sway bars in the rear, hooking up attachments so far with the 4707 hasn't been hard, but I think it's happiest with equipment listed at least 1/2 as well as 2.

If your lower links telescope plus have lots of room to move sideways, then you really only have to get it within inches and the tractor parts adapt to the
implement, but for sure, you are the one doing the adapting. Otherwise if you are having QH issues, for sure been there, done that, and lots of threads on this site about just that. Mine is gathering spiders leaving on a barn wall.
This is one of those things where someone else's experience could be very different.

finally got up on a ladder to see what's what up top and realized I need to use the gutter attachment on my power washer
to clean out the accumulating crud up there.
C'mon Agco. how about rev. 2 on that heavy steel guard up there with hinges on the rear, just let it swing back out of the way
for cleaning. Real PITA to get it done now. But I love the view.

Thanks for your help daugen! I read a lot of other qh threads on this forum but was wondering specific to our tractors what people thought. I am looking at maybe going with Pats quick hitch instead of the land pride. Seems like it would allow a lot of adjustment and still save some time.

Where did you guys run the wire for the from camera on the loader? Trying to find a good spot and leave enough slack.

   / 4707 #247
Are the weights listed online without the loader? If so, any idea what the loaders weight with a 84” bucket?

   / 4707 #248
I think Dave aka bigpuddie knows the name of this actual loader and who it is made by. I researched it a while ago but can’t remember. I do somewhat remember thinking the weight was around 10,000 or 10,500 with the loader & bucket. I bet someone here knows more exact

Edit- it’s quickie..now for the loader version.

My tractor is 4wd ROPS so the base weight is listed at 7125. I’d think the loaders would be around 1500 or so?? I’m wanting to haul my tractor W/loader, box blade (1400lbs) and grader (1100lbs).
My trailer is a 14k so I realistically I can only haul maybe 11k.

Ah, I forgot you have the rops.. I thought manufacturers were conservative with the haul rate so you’d be ok with 14k lbs?
What is the brand? Are your rear tires loaded? I forgot about that. Not sure how much it adds? Loaders with buckets around 1500lbs to 2000? I’ll be interested to hear what others think.

What are you pulling with?
