Makes you wonder, why with a Terrorist supposedly behind every Bush, they aren't blasting airliners out of the sky, around (not in) every airport. If such weapons are easily available.

Do you know what a good Buk antiaircraft launch system costs? I have no doubt some Russki would sell you one if you had the money. I doubt if we could even afford a Strela. (man portable rocket, like the Stinger).

Where's Nicolas Cage when you need him?

What's the range of a good old Soviet RPG?

Well that depends. Most people can't hit anything beyond about 300 yards with one. I have heard you could "volley fire" at around 700 yards, but I think it self detonates even if it doesn't hit something not much beyond that. Remember it is not a guided missile, it has to be aimed like a gun. Taking down an airliner with one would be a real problem.

With some of the aircraft flying very low over adjacent roadways, or buildings, I wouldn't say that was impossible, or hadn't been thought of.

My feeling on it, is that MOST people just want a happy comfortable life and are not interested in harming others or destroying their own lives. Our politicians on the other hand, unfortunatley don't fit that profile! I am convinced, it's them we have to be worried about.

I just noticed that the Lady friend bought butter sticks with "SEA SALT"

Can someone tell me, please, that there is a difference, from salt that is mined from underground, from deposits left over from a dried up (what was that) SEA?

Sea salt usually has other minerals that are taken out of mined and refined salt.

I had to read that about twenty times before I think I understand what you are saying. So, "sea salt" has something more/extra, not less?

With the Billions of tons of garbage and toxins in our Oceans, maybe going for the million year old salt deposits would in fact be healthier.

Being totally ignorant of the differences between the old mined salt and sea salt, I've just guessed that they found a way to get the sea salt cheaper and that was why it's become so popular. That, and the fact that selling something as "new" and different helps sales.

I always see salt on the table of restaurants

I used to have heart palpitations quite regularly, until one morning going to work, I was listening to a talk show that had a doctor as a guest. One of the listeners called in about her palpitations. The doctor told her to switch to sea salt before going on medication. I immediately changed to sea salt, and I never had another palpitation for about 20 years.
