Just ran it for the first time, worked great. First impressions is that it is like having a 16' trailer hooked to you at all times, swing wide, don't Jack-knife it, backing is fun, etc.

Shulte is a well know cutter around here. However, this is the first time I've ever seen their small 7' model. Most are multi, multi winged models. They will run from from 24' to over 42' models. You have NEVER experienced a man made dust storm until you see a 500hp tracked tractor pulling two side by side 45' wide Shulte cutters across a dry wheat field.

I will stop and let the dust cloud pass over the county road when riding my motorcycle down south. Ride on thru the dust cloud - feel "grimy" the remainder of the day.

Going to need a video of that! Sounds awesome. We recently drove through the Palouse region and I couldn't believe the beauty (farming beauty). Is that the area you were riding through?

Yes, Walker - I live in an area called the Channeled Scablands. It forms the northern cap on the Palouse. The Palouse being immediately south of me. Need a video of the gigantic Shulte cutters in action. I'm PRETTY SURE I've mastered taking video's with my new iPhone XR. I'm going south here in a few days. I'll take the iPhone with me and see if I can get a video. You see, I'm still old school. I DON'T take the phone with me - every time I leave the house.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Many drive thru the Palouse and are disappointed. Just mile after mile after mile of wheat field as far as the eye can see. I find an early morning ride south to be quite peaceful and calming in this otherwise, world of turmoil. I guess to each his own.

We were driving from McCall Idaho up to CDA so we we only went through the east side and my jaw dropped a few times I was blown away, but i love farming so it was beautiful to me!

I actually have two phones, a Rugby flip phone that I carry and a smart phone that mostly stays home unless I need to take some pictures or go on a trip somewhere.

Would love a video of the cutters. If i understood you correctly they pull two batwing cutters at the same time, i would love to see the cart they hook to and see how it turns, i guess one would have to trail way further back than the other.

Ha, ha - - I gave up my Samsung Rugby flip phone when I bought the new Ram Power Wagon. The Rugby will not "pair up" with the modern electronics on the Power Wagon( Taco Wagon ). That's why I now have the Apple iPhone XR. The only "good" thing - the software on the iPhone is, more or less, the same as on the Taco Wagon.

Thank God the XR WILL make a phone call. All the rest is just fluff. I had to deactivate voice command on the Taco Wagon. It simply couldn't understand some of my more "dynamic" utterances.

Hard to believe but I have nothing on my 80 acres that I need a rotary cutter for. Just bunch grass, ancient Ponderosa pines and two lakes. I see that the "local" Shulte dealer now has a 107 in stock. Last time I was there all the cutters were big enough to set up a tennis court on their tops.

Glad to hear you like your new cutter and that it's working out for you. That's one H*LL of an investment.
