That is one BIG cutter. What will you be pulling it with?

Will be reclaiming pasture taken over by cedar and bois d'arc trees and general mowing along fence lines and bar ditches. I own 45 acres to take care of but hope to find an 80 to lease in the future.
Will be running it with a 50HP Kubota M5040. I plan on getting a larger cab tractor in a few years so I don't mind that this cutter is about the max for the M5040.
I have borrowed a 7' 3 point Deere MX7 and my M5040 and the power was good but too much weight on the 3 point kind of slung the tractor around on slopes (I take loader off to brush hog, call it a pet peeve if you must). I have terraces so the pull type will be nice.
I also have a 3 point 6' King Cutter, 5' pull type old old style cutter (will now be retired), and a 4' land pride cutter for my BX.
Didn't want people thinking I will do it all with this behemoth. It will serve a roll.

Oh and when we say brush hog in Oklahoma we are referring to a rotary cutter. If we are brush hogging we are out on our tractor using our rotary cutter lol

It's funny to see it written down. Wife asks what are you going to do today? "Gonna brush hog".

Impressive. I've never heard of Shulte and wasn't aware of cutters that you can pull behind a tractor in that size. I'm looking forward to more pics and your impression after using it.

In my area, all of the State Highway Dept. use Shulte cutters.

Shulte is kind of the "Rolls Royce" of cutters in my view. They are big, bad, commercial duty machines. I don't have one, but, if I had the application and the cash, I'd get one in a heartbeat. Nothing but impressed the few times I've seen one. They seem to build everything; "This required 1/4in plate, so let's use 1/2in". Very nice machines from what I've seen.

Here's one of their biggest machines. You call that a batwing? I'm pretty sure this thing could MOW my BW12 into parts in a single pass. ;)

I looked at many options and this was the only 7' pull type that had all of the options I wanted.

Suspension is cushioned. Double chains front rear, and rear that do not stick off further from the back of the machine like the land pride.
Massive 210HP gearbox.
CV joint for tight turns.
Deck ring for protection.
High blade tip speed.
Hitch that swivels in two axis.
All pieces are heavy duty. For instance on the land pride pull type the wheel frame connects with one "ear", on this one there are two, makes more sense to me.
Slip clutch is a whole different animal on this machine that what I am used to. The owner of the dealership says he owns the same one and it is the smoothest running cutter he has ran. One of his workers made the same comment about the smoothness too so I can't wait to try it out.
