I kind of envy you. I remember when Bushmaster was once considered a top tier rifle and Remington kind of killed that a long time ago.

Windham WAS bushmaster before Remington bought them out, then moved the Manufacturing facility out of Maine to Remington I believe in NY. After that, the rifle went to crap. Remington in their infinate wisdom gave the owner of Bushmaster a 7 year or so no compete clause. After that clause ran out, they opened back up in the same faciltiy in Maine (I believe).

Correct, correct and correct, and thanks, I love that rifle.

This rifle feels solid, shoots great, and looks good !

My wife doesn't like shooting my 16" Barreled, Anderson Build, but the Windham unit she likes the feel, that works.

I was at the WW Factory but they were closed, didn't have the time to stay overnight so didn't get in, but will make another trip back to New England soon.

Still looking for a scope but narrowing in on the Leupold, VX3i, 2.5-8x36, seems about right, just want a different Reticle.

I cant stand bolt actions, dont care for pump either but love the old western lever guns, Henry is one of my favorites. I do like the AR's and AK's but I cant afford to shoot them, my younger son loves them, has a AK something and on any given weekend afternoon he'll go through $100.00 of ammo in a very short time.

I am in the market for a semi auto 410 but there's no US makers so have to look into foreign gun makers, dont care for that but found one place that seems to sell what I'm looking for. A 5rd clip that shoots 3", very very hard to find anywhere, 12 ga is much easier to find but my shoulder says no way.

IMG-3210.JPG<<<Next month I'll go to a gun shop and see if they can order one of these, dont know if I want the top one or bottom one, the middle one is out because the barrel is 28", to long for squirrel control.

Why not look for a used Remington 11-48? I have one in 410 but I like using my Winchester single shot 410 on squirrels..

Anyone know the exact specs on 22 vs 223 army round and or have picture of them side by side? Guy at work says the caliber is the same but when I look them up the specs I got was 22=223" and the army 223=224" but couldn't find the gr difference, all I know is the 223 is a lot faster rd...............

To each their own, but when it comes to a repeating shotgun I'd rather have a pump than a semi. I saw a sweet older Winchester 20 gauge with a poly choke at the dealer that I had my last firearm from gunbroker sent to... if the trucker ever comes for the load of wood on my landing I'm going to buy that Winchester.

The Remington's I seen they have to be loaded from underneath like my Mossberg 20ga pump, dont care for that, I need band-aids everytime I shoot skeet.

I have a 60 old single shot Stevens 410 but I notice lately that the squirrels are moving a lot faster then they did 40 years ago, so I seem to keep missing them and by the time I get another round in there gone, so I'm thinking if I have 5 quick rounds my chances should improve, coarse if the wife would let me cut all the oaks down I'd be way head of the game.

Theres something about pump that takes the romance out for me, if Henry made a 410 lever gun that would shoot 3" I'd be buying that but 2-1/2 is what they shoot, love the lever.
