Check out the different incentives on the Kubota website. I just took delivery (last week) of a B2650 Cab model with a FEL and 72" mmm. The salesman encouraged me to explore the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC) website. I did, and discovered there were no dues and Kubota offered $100-$500 off depending upon model purchased. I signed up, received a prompt email including an ID card. I texted my salesman a screenshot of my new ID card and he discounted our already agreed on price by another $200. You do have to offer proof of veteran status in order to join the FVC. I'm just a small hobby farmer and haven't really explored the advantages of FVC membership but it looks like a very worthwhile organization for veterans who farm. Check out their website. Also, like others have said, get several competing dealers to give you prices. The dealer I purchased from was at least $1,500 below everyone else. He also did not have my tractor in stock so he checked out other dealers in the area. He found several tractors but said they had been sitting on dealer lots for some time. He ended up ordering one from the factory. It was an extra few weeks wait but I'm happy I got a factory fresh tractor in the bargain. This new to me dealer seems to be thinking the long game (happy customer who may repeat buy at some point down the road) because I couldn't even get a price out of the dealer I bought my B7610 from 12 years ago. Turns out that dealer is in the process of being bought out by the dealer I'm purchasing from. The old dealer is a lot closer to me so I was disappointed at first. I have always purchased my parts from the old dealer but have never needed them for any other type services. Now that the new dealer is buying them out I'm in Fat City. My new tractor is working out great after the first week. I've been able to mow more pasture than ever in a very short time and all in air conditioned comfort listening to my newly installed Blaupunkt stereo. Life is good.
