TODAYS SEAT TIME

Finally got my new tractor home last night.

Have put a little over three hours on it so far. Mainly running the brush hog and playing around with the loader leveling some rough spots.

Loving it so far. View attachment 622529View attachment 622530

WOW! That is nice, I love the 3560's. I thought about one real hard, but I'm in the woods and I was afraid I'd tear up the cab. Enjoy that machine.

I decided to remove an old walkway that had raised up 3" from a redwood root beneath. Should have been a simple job. Unfortunately someone had run a water line right on top of the dirt under the slab. Of course it broke when I raised the slab. Fortunately I still have my old Makita demo hammer which breaks up a 4" slab like it was a saltine. Now the leak is fixed, I will have to rerun the water line at some point. But now I can get back to the tractor part of the chore and get rid of the remaining walkway.

Looks like the old Makita did a good job of it . . .

Yep. 4570man had a thread recently on how do you know if you have enough tools or need another. Here is a case in point. I broke the water line at 2pm on a Sunday, the nearest rental yard (if it is open) is 90 minutes away. If I didn't have that breaker, which I haven't touched in years, I would have been SOL. I have thought about selling it often enough but very glad I did not.

Thanks, I am really enjoying using it. The cab is wonderful. Mowed with my Scag ZT this afternoon and realized just how nice it is to have a cab.

Have a bit over 14 hours on it. Seems to be adding up faster than I thought they would.

Ran the brush hog more today, mowing my landmine like pastures. Fire ants and hogs tore it up several years ago and no one fixed it. Not sure how I'm going to smooth it yet.

Wife is happy as she is seeing stuff getting done.

Not much Seat Time today for me.
We have to help move Wife’s sister to her first “forever” house and I seem to have gotten elected.
Wife went to help her and told me to put the new chair together so we could give it to her as a house warming gift. So I did as told while she was gone to help her sister clean up the old apartment.
And I loaded the chair by myself.

She came home and I thought she would be pleased.

What did I get?
A shaking of her head as she walked in the house with a double armload of groceries and saying,
“What is wrong with him?”
And there was nobody around for her to be talking to.

Gotta go, I’m supposed to bring this load and meet them all at the new house at once since all her friends and family supposed to be there when I pull up.

My seat time was in the Kioti dealer's visitor chair signing paperwork for a new NX5010 Cab Shuttle with 3rd function, 3 remotes and filled industrial tires. Should have it in a week or so. :D

Lucky you! That Kioti will give you many hours of fun- er, service.

Funny thing, when I typed “Kioti” my spellcheck changed it to “Kubota”.
