Thomas- Enjoy your day today.
.......................
So far so good.
Soon you'll be getting taste of autumn air which will put spring back in your step along with good night sleep.![]()
Thomas- I am happy to read that retirement apparently seems to agree with you
The woodstove was cleaned out today ready for its first probable burn for this Season tomorrow AM. I have yet to turn on the our propane fired central heating's primary living space zone.
The goldfinch have started to visit the thistle feeder. I still have hummingbird feeders up; hopefully the downey woodpeckers will find them before I take them down for the season.
I'll probably put up all the bird feeders after our return from Martha's Vineyard.
Robins appear to be flocking up and fighting over available food resources in the understory vegetation. There are still some wild grapes hanging and lots of Autumn/Russian olives. My mistake planting them appears greatly appreciated by all the birds.
For a day that started out rather poorly things are really improving.
Paul- I am sorry to read about the company that you work for's two recent resignations and the new expectations now placed on you. Another example of competency and job longevity being "rewarded" by senior management.
