My 2017 F150 is a Supercab and I think I have seen 1 with an 8 foot bed. As rare as hens teeth.

I gave hard consideration to a used 2014 SuperCab 8' 2WD 3.5EB with the heavy duty payload package including Load Range E tires on 7-bolt wheels. Puts it over some SuperDutys as for capacity.

Available new if you are willing to order. But when Ford offers $11k discounts for vehicle bought off the lot it is hard to order.

Nice! I better not go by a Ford dealer or I could be driving a new truck home

Tried sport mode tonight. Noticeable difference. Not sure why it is needed in a truck, but fun anyway.

From what I read about the 2.7L, I think sport mode would stress my eyeball sockets.

F-150 comes in 8' bed, just not larger than SuperCab (rear suicide doors). Hard to find 8' beds on dealers' lot.

Pretty sure 8' Crew Cab is only offered in the work truck trim level at for GM. I need to get the SuperCrew/Crew Cab for my family I have an extended cab now and there isn't anywhere near enough room with the car seats and kids needing to be in them up to something like 7 years old.

Yes you can get the SuperCab but not the SuperCrew my guess it has something to do with the strength of the frame and the length of it.

I think they use the same frame on the super crew 6.5' and the super cab 8'. Both would be lower volumes but can share a wheel base so that would be more economical to build. I have a hard enough time maneuvering a super crew with 6.5' bed, and would not want anything longer.

Yeah I don't drive my truck much unless I'm hauling something in the bed or towing a trailer, I put about 6k-8k miles on in a year. A lease would be good but I don't like paying for something I'm not keeping or getting equity in. I would lease and buy out at the end but they won't lease 2500/250 anything.

Not trying to sound rude here, but there is no equity to be had in cars. The monies spent in down-payments and notes are not doing much for you but lowering notes and reducing principle, never to be seen again because of rapid depreciation. Be better off investing your money elsewhere. That being said, these trucks have gotten so expensive, the common folks can’t pay cash. Trucks and cars, unfortunately, are a necessary but bad investment. And you are right-leases on hd trucks are ludicrous, at least in my area.

To be clear- I pay notes. Not trying to sound holier than thou here
