And on the matter of Everlast Welders. In my opinion Mark is a valued contributor to TBN.

I find his posts to be unbiased and better than one would expect from a sponsor.

I know he has helped a lot of guys on here (including me) with questions concerning Everlast welders.

I don’t own an Everlast for reasons that are irrelevant to this discussion but I can say that I have gained much knowledge from Mark’s posts.

Perhaps he set the bar too high for guys like “Brian”??

I'm reluctant to believe the tank theory. 100lbs on the left rear tire isn't going to have much effect.

To test this simply add air pressure to the left rear tire. If you can level your bucket by adding a few lbs of air pressure, less than 5psi, then simply run your tires that way.

Curious to hear the result.
Or stand on one side of the platform vs the other (ok, perhaps not all of us, but 90% of us on here weigh more than 124# with boots and outdoor gear on).
If that makes a difference, the rear tires are WAAAAAAY low on air.

I weigh almost 220 at 6’. Because I respect the person at RK that sold me the tractor I’m going to see if it makes a difference. I’m not an engineer, I’m not a mechanic, heck I’m not even that good at repairing stuff. But I have a horse farm and I know that I depend on my tractors and I want my bucket level.

I guess I opened a can of worms. Lol

I'd say if you park your tractor on level ground, like in a garage, and measure the distance from ground to the bottom of the left rear axle just inside the tire, and do the same for the right side, those numbers should be the same. Then do the same for the front end.

If both rear numbers or both front numbers aren't the same, check tire inflation and adjust them to get the same numbers.

If both rear numbers are the same and both front numbers are the same, yet the loader bucket can't lay flat across the leading edge and back of the bucket, the loader is uneven. Then you'd have to figure out if it's a mounting issue or a manufacturing issue and proceed from there as to who's gonna pay for it/remedy it.

Of course, that's assuming the axles are the same dimensions on both ends. Always the assumptions. :laughing:

If the fuel tank weight issue is causing it, and you try and compensate with tire inflation, what happens when the tank gets down to low? The FEL is going to tilt back.

Of course it will. I offered that to see if slight chassis tilt was causing the problem. It's not. But it could be disproved by altering tire pressure.

Wow. The thread title looked interesting and I wanted to know who 釘rian was. Thought maybe it was the real name of a popular member that had passed.

Had to read almost 40 posts to understand what was going on and what the heck è¿*K was. I was determined to figure it out without having to ask an explanation that was so obvious to everyone else. I知 still unsure of what make tractor is even being discussed. LOL


ANYHOW the fuel tank explanation is the dumbest thing I致e ever heard of IMO. Carry on...

Rural King Farm and Home stores started purchasing tractors from TYM, rebadged to RK, and selling them out of their stores.
