Fabulous work an artist no doubt. Coming from a steel fabrication background the detail is amazing. Glad I saw this

Thanks again for the nice comments , I used to be embarrassed to tell anyone I make toys but it is what it is . I enjoy it so much .
As far as splatter I get plenty but I take the time to cover surrounding areas before I weld . That eliminates 90% of the splatter. Todays
progress shows the filler and primer applied. It looks much cleaner now and almost looks like plastic.

Don, your work is truly amazing! When I first showed the pics to the wifey, she thought it was the “ real thing “ ! She calls it “ phenomenal “ . I cannot wait to see your next pics / steps. Thanks for sharing!

I'm here because I want to see them all painted up. Some pictures of previously built models would be ok too.

Thanks again for the very nice comments. I used to be on facebook for many years sharing my projects and I had over 200 videos sharing the building process. But today I just started twitter with a few of my projects at ( doncampbelljd ) I will share more progress pics as I move along. The scale for this model is actually 1/6th. I had two 1/6th scale rc trucks and I used just the cab shell and attached it to a steel handbuilt frame. Also if you google ( doncampbellmodels or don campbell, Gaylord, Michigan )
