Do you mean the skid steer option for the FEL, or something else?
That is the beauty of the set up that Dragoneggs has from Jery Dunn. The weight sacrifice is the smallest I have seen for something so close to the bucket arms. Much lighter than the skid steer option.
Yet another consideration is the “tippiness” that you mentioned. When I was contemplating whether or not to upgrade from my BX25 to the B2650, I went and drove a B2650 from a TBNer that was close by. Much to my surprise, it seemed to me to be so high up that it would be tippy, or at least more so than my BX, which is quite close to the ground. So there you have another factor to consider. Do you want to be up where you have more clearance but be more tippy, or low down and less tippy, but with less clearance?
And don’t make your decision based upon the snowblower. Both of those tractors will do just fine with a snowblower.
