Mike...
I've been watching your videos since #1. I like the content.
Keep'm coming, and know there are a bunch of us (even on these forums) that appreciate the work you put in.
Some folks on here just like to stir the pot. Don't let'm get under your skin.
As for the material spreading technique, shaking really seems to work well for a nice even layer. But I do have to wonder, if you do a lot of it, over time, will it damage the hydraulics?
(Most) Everyone else... h o l y h e l l.
Life is too short to sit at a keyboard and argue about the kind of stuff that's being argued about in this thread. I'm only 33 and I've already figured that out.
If it bothers you that much, pull up your big girl panties, don't watch the video, and go spend your time as you see fit.
I joined this forum to learn and enjoy tractor related things. And to contribute when I where I can. I imagine most of you did as well.
If that content happens to come from someone who's making a couple bucks for providing it, who cares? If anything, I'm grateful for it.
I'd rather have the content and information available to me, and the creators compensated, than the alternative.
I'm grateful we live in a time when such a wealth of information (and sense of community) is so readily available.
Sometimes I think we lose site of the bigger picture and get caught up in the trivial stuff.
So, thanks to Mike, and anyone else that has taught me something about tractors. Whether on this forum, YouTube, or elsewhere.
I appreciate it. And like my signature says... Life is short. Play with tractors!
