Where is the red bubble infected person/people running at double speed through the population simulator? The panic population.

Notice, when you run every simulator, every person gets infected. That means many of the sick or fragile will die regardless what the curve of the chart is.

Maybe the "panic population" are the ones that have a box around them for the duration of the simulation.

Interesting.
It's important to "flatten the curve" to not overwhelm the ICU bed, respirator capacity in "our" healthcare "system"..
...the flip side is that social distancing and flattening the curve prolongs the epidemic over a longer time-span. Maybe that's why we're starting to hear "until July/August".

I wonder when "crisis fatigue" becomes a factor and (young) people start saying "Oh, just give me the virus and get it over with!"

The problem is sucking up hospital resources with a steep curve, causing deaths due to triage choices.

Many of us old fogies are wanting the curve flattened so there will be hospital resources available.

Nope ... at this point, the phobia needs to be at far more basic level: ... your fellow individual human being ... regardless of where they hail from.

In this particular instance, it isn't a bad thing.
