We will survive, well most of us will but the quality of life will suffer. Bottom line.
... nobody will survive unless we sustain our economy? You may be safe and secure but there痴 probably over millions of Americans who will perish without food and shelter.
We need to realize that depression ...
Right now the economy is trashed. It's "depressed" right now...
We will need a better group of thinkers across the spectrum to figure out a new way to go forward.
The old models, i.e. print money, get a job, will not sustain us going forward. The normal we all seek, just is not there anymore. It's a different world.
Sir, I take a long hard look at everything related, but do you realize that nobody will survive unless we sustain our economy? You may be safe and secure but there痴 probably over millions of Americans who will perish without food and shelter.
We need to realize that depression will kill more than the virus! We are also finding out that the death rate will be much lower than projected. With all the flu deaths every year, do we shut the whole economy down? The flu has a vaccine and still kills more people. And the flu kills young people, too.
I知 not saying let痴 have everything open up, cruises, airplanes, restaurants, etc. Not at all. And I appreciate your concern for your fellow man.
I知 saying let痴 responsibly open up businesses that are needlessly shuttered and keep up the gloves, masks, hand washing, etc.
Quick show of hands.... how many people on TBN have lost their job or income due to this virus?
I'm still working on-site, but will be ramping down as work slows due to lack of customers. Been told I'll still get paid, but don't know how long that will last, so it's in the back of my mind.
My wife and 1 kid are working from home, both still employed.
Other kid graduates from college in a few weeks. Will be looking for work. That will be tough.
Personally, I know of 1 person that's been laid off until work can resume, my next door neighbor, who's a carpenter in Michigan. His boss had to send him home since they aren't allowed to build new houses right now. He's getting unemployment for now.
