There is some jobs however that Americans flat-out will not do.
Back before the days of the ACA I knew somebody who was running a dairy, they tried to get US citizens to work and milk their cows, they were paying over $3 an hour above minimum wage plus full healthcare benefits (ie: the employer paid for 100% of the employee's very good HMO plan) and they couldn't get people who would show up consistently, on time and not under the influence of something (at least not to the point where would it affect their work).
This was working inside shuffling cows through the milking parlor, attaching the milking machines, feeding the cows with the tractor/feed cart and scraping the alleyways with a skidsteer.

The high schools have gotten away from trade schools and have taught that you HAVE to go to college for a decent job. But it doesn't work that way. Go to college to get deep into debt with college loans and still can't get a job because your degree is meaningless in the workplace. They all seem to expect to start out as CEO of a company. I have a niece that will NOT take certain jobs because they are "beneath her dignity" so she has yet to get a job. Even though all the family friends pulled in all their favors to get her the job. She's about 35, never had a job, lives at home and spends most of her time on Facebook. (And yes, the parents are an enabler to this.)

The only thing that is shameful is the fact that anyone here illegally is nothing but a slap in the face of everyone that comes here legally to work...only the misguided see it differently...

I agree.

That’s the way it’s always been around here.

Yes - this self quarantine has had very little affect on me here. Into my pickup - go on a nice trip - stop and gas back up - home. I call it - mobile quarantine. The only folks I see are in their vehicles also. One of these days I'll be able to get a hamburger with fries. I can wait.

Sure but what about all the people making this possible for you, frontline they’re called. I read a lot of news stories and quarantined people aren’t as quarantined as they think they are as many still get sick. Sadly though, I guess that is all we can do for now.

There's only one way to quarantine humans and thats forcefully.

My DIL is an RN and volunteered her service. She's in Gallup NM. Town is locked down by National Guard soldiers.

They have to go to college to get indoctrinated and get deep into debt so they need handouts...good little useful idiots.

I interviewed one guy who expected to start at $100k a year...it was a short interview.

Your niece does not have responsible parents. I cannot imagine a 35 YO who has never worked at a job outside the home. I started at 16.

Is that why folks would have lots of kids to do those chores?

That's pretty insulting. Both our kids are productive members of society, college grads, payed their way and are debt free. You, on the other hand, complain a lot. A lot! Every day! Go out and do something about it.

You being a search guy, wonder what percent of college grads work in their educated field?
