Got the bucket beat into submission, reinforcement welded up and painted.

Had to move some more Ash tree bits.

Could barely lift this with the short bolt on forks. Front tires looked ready to pop
Stay safe and be well

Yeh, I got bolt-ons as well. One of these days, real forks for me.

Had this big oak taken down by a tree service. Used the massey to load the dude's trailer, and then spread all the mulch...had enough mulch for the front of our property.

Yep, pretty amazing that the little tractors can pick this size round up and move it. That is a massive oak and certainly a full trailer!

At home today, 10’ fire pit

Man, that's almost as big as my burning pile, looks nice.

KC

Thanks, it’ll be duel purpose, pleasure fires and construction debris (wood).

Easy with the GC. We have a good local guy for boulders, those 14 2’s were cheap.

Neighbor had a load of topsoil delivered to fill in low spots and dress up around tree bases that I helped move.

Had a dead raccoon that needed to be cleaned out of the yard and buried out back.

I dug out a small stump from a very gnarly tree bush thing with a few more to go. (Forgot to get pictures of that). I could definitely tell my hydraulic power was restored with the backhoe attached vs last time I used it thanks to tuning my PRV back to spec.

Probably do more digging tonight as I clear out an overgrown hedgerow and restore the property line drainage ditch that years of neglect had filled in with overgrowth, trees, shrubs and decomposed leaves as well as some improperly disposed of trash.IMG_20200526_181221.jpgIMG_20200526_181446.jpg

I loaded mine up on another guy's trailer. Sold it. As much as I liked the Massey, it had a single purpose; blowing snow. One of the best things about the Massey tractor and Snowblower was also the worst, being produced in the Mattel and Fisher Price factories it was fairly easy and at times cheap to fix. There was just too much fixing compared to the bigger heavier John Deere.

I also have a 2014 JD 2032r with a front end loader, mower, tiller, wood chipper, weight box, and from the sale of the Massy now will have a cab and snowblower plus I picked up a heavy 3pt hitch blade.

So long, Massey forum.

Sorry to see you go, but a SCUt will not be even a compact, no less a full size Tractor. I love my 1720 as it fits where I need it and has been dead reliable so far. But I know not to push it like it's bigger. But I have moved 10 tons of gravel, removed about 20 stumps, regraded some fields, cleaned out lots of brush. And moved a lot of wood rounds.
I bet you will appreciate that Cab in the winter.

Best of luck to you Ken. Like the othe Ken said, it is just a scut but for many of us small acreage owners, it is exactly what we need. Good luck and enjoy that cab!

I'll second that, I don't have a use for anything bigger than my gc1710. When it's too small for a job, I hire a pro.

I would totally pick up that dead coon with my backhoe/thumb. Tell me you did that! What did the gauge show for the prv, and what did you bump it up to?

I started asking you about the brackets that keep your rops bent like that, but then I remembered a post of yours taking about it just supporting the top half of rops, so you could get under places.

You know I scooped that coon up with the bucket and used the tractor to find its final resting place!

Spec is 1920psi, I was down just above 1700 on testing. I knew it as the tractor just felt a bit weaker vs when it was newer. Im a bit over 2k PSI right now after I fixed it in part because the prv screw wanted to turn when I was trying to tighten the jam but.
