Well, I was one of those people who went with a better deal from hours away from home and now I am having a hard time getting service on a warranty covered issue. Has anyone else ran into this problem? At the time 4000$ seem like a good idea to drive 6 hours away. Now I’m not so sure

Kioti make a decent enough tractor for the price, but the dealer network flat out SUCKS.

I like the tractor. I tried to deal with the local dealer, but couldn’t come close in price. Plus he flat out lied to me so that didn’t help.

That's typical whether you buy a tractor, car, Harley whatever and then try to get it serviced close to home base. That's why I always go back to my local dealer and offer them the opportunity to match/beat the deal that I've found. That way when I need a service and they gripe about buying somewhere else I remind them that the ball had been in their court and they dropped it. However I still buy parts locally and so they see my face on a regular basis and they soon try to accommodate as best as they can. What seems to be the problem with yours? All the best, Dutchy

Nope. In fact I just got my tractor back from a Kioti dealer here in Texas, that I did not purchase my tractor from. They were extremely courteous and professional. I might add, they were very busy and fully booked 3 weeks ahead for service. They were short handed and looking to hire diesel mechanics, but cannot find anyone. But they still took my tractor.

If any Kioti dealer rejects your tractor for service, that is not a good dealer and Kioti Corporate should drop that dealer.

In fact, 5 months ago, i brought my tractor for a PTO shaft problem into a Mahindra dealer just 2 miles from my house. They successfully cut off the PTO shaft for my wood chipper, after I backed into a stump and damaged the PTO. They did it without damaging the chipper and the tractor PTO shaft.

What more needs to be said. I buy local and have never had a bad experience. I've dealt with the same dealership for 38+ years and they have ALWAYS provided exceptional service. And I always sleep like a baby at night.

I bought local, the sales and parts departments are great, the service department is TERRIBLE. Never had a problem getting a car serviced at a dealer I didn't buy from, and the Kioti is being properly (but VERY slowly) fixed at another dealer.

A dealer who balks on service work makes no sense unless you ticked somebody off? This is an old story, tractors or cars & trucks as dealers bread & butter is service work.
Name the dealer-is it Rileys in West Portsmouth, OH? I have bought a few parts there but mostly switched to closer to me HUS Equipment in Nicholasville, KY. Both are helpful and friendly but all my service work is done by me on everything as I'm a retired wrencher/tech teacher.
I have never felt an obligation to keep someone in business but if a place earns my business I go there. My cars & trucks are mostly drive and buy or fly & buy as price matters and several thousand $$$ stays in my pocket that way. Tractors are always used. There are zero dealers of any kind near me, we don't have red lights, fast food or much retail of any sort.

What do you do if your local dealers have recently sold or have been around but have bad reputations.
