You have two times mores hr then I do wonder how you managed that.

Simple: I put in the seat time ...

I had about 800 hr 3-4 years ago when my outer knuckles started leaking 1200 now, I dont mind wet but small puddles on floor bothers me so I figured if the bearings aren't gone and it's just seals its worth a try and did the trick for me to.

I didn't have an issue until a few years ago ... when tractor had been operated (hard) in the winter in very muddy conditions, didn't cleaned off until spring.

I think that was also the same year I also had one of the rear axle seals start to pop out of the axle housing.

Luckily, I had to get off the tractor to adjust a chain and happened to see the hydraulic fluid running out ... and managed to get it back to house before it dumped all the fluid.

BTW - when I said "well over 1000 hours", it could have been as much 1700 or 1800 ... so over 1000 was a very safe guess ...

There is no axle pivot bolt to adjust.

I surmised there was one, most Kubota Tractors has an adjustment bolt you set the axle pre-load with but I've refrained from arguing or pointing out Dave's mistakes, because no matter what it is, he's always right.

Must be nice to be the 'Hallowed One'.....:mur:

If you took the time to read the thread from the beginning, you would have realized the issue for the owner was oil leaking from the front axle in the vicinity of the rear support and front drive shaft.

A suggestion was made it might help to eliminate the leak by tightening the pivot bolt.

My reply post was to show that the front 4WD axle did not pivot on a bolt as do some tractors but rather on large bosses forming part of the axle housing and the differential housing

Part #130 is not involved in supporting the pivoting of the front axle. It can do nothing to alleviate oil leaks from the differential area.

If you want to call a 2" long bolt a Pivot bolt ( see picture below) that is not what it is called: rather, from the M6800 WSM : If tightening torque is not within the factory specifications, adjust
the front axle rocking force adjusting screw (1).

All the above only in the interest of having accurate facts for all to review and decide on the merits.

I would've thought HCJtractor would like a service manual or maybe the leak stop after he unchained his tractor. But this subject has got me thinking I should take a look at my front end adjustment bolt, when I get a chance, after 1200 hr that adjustment screw might need to be tweaked.
