Who are we quoting? (Author by name, or a committee that translated from a committee?)
First amendment says you can quote Joseph Goebbels. That doesn't mean you should do so everywhere.
You can also quote Sylvia Plath or Ayn Rand right here.
(The Iliad, Beowolf, and Don Quixote are as factually vetted as some devotional texts.)
