That could very well be that my memory of where he said he grew up and my memory of his snow storied could be suspect. I know he lived in a couple different areas in Michigan before settling down and moving to Marlette, where i was born.

What did he do, or his family do, while in the UP??

Thanks! We are warm here as well, like 80 today. Our house and many here, do not have AC. Here is a few more for you guys!

Few more I found. The first one is trail signage. The garage roof with lights is the loon that lives on our garage roof.

Sorry, i don't really recall. I know my grandfather worked as head mechanic for Michigan State department of Corrections when he retired. I don't know much about my father either, he worked for a veterinarian, when he was younger, i believe after he got back from WWII. Too bad i wasn't more curios when i was a child/young adult. Funny how when you are young, at least for me, you think your parents and grand parents were always just that, and don't realize they were real people with lives, before you were born.

A few more. 3rd on is our yard and the fence which is level with the snow, is 4ft tall.

Ha, it's a start. Looks like someone is ready for some fun in the snow. Hasn't gotten to freezing temps here yet.
