locknlube cupler for a grease gun

I think everyone that is thinking of a powered grease gun should start with a lock n lube and a lever style manual grease gun. I just got a lock n lube on my manual grease gun this spring but I have to say I am no longer thinking of getting a powered gun and so far it fits on everything I have tried it on.
Ditto, was thinking of a powered one, got the lock n lube and still using my levered one.

I've got a manual and pneumatic .. with LNL on both. Plus an older manual w/o LNL .. for a previous tractor that LNL wouldn't fit fittings on loader.

Put a hose on it and you will like it even more

My grease gun came with a hose on it, i think. But for sure, a hose is pretty nice to have. I've got some zerks on the underside, not much clearance and would not be able to get on the fitting if i didn't have a hose.

The LNL is one of those things that after you use it you think to yourself, "Why do they even sell grease guns with the fittings on them that they do"?? It's SO MUCH better. It's not a little better, it's like 1/2 (maybe less) time to grease my entire tractor using a LNL compared to the standard fittings. I'm with you guys, 30 bucks is more than my whole grease gun cost! I'd be shocked if the manufacturing cost on the LNL is over 5 bucks, but hey, that's capitalism, guy came up with a fantastic solution to a real PITA for those of us who are trying to attach/detach from 100's a zerks a few times a year. Good for him. If you're anything like me, the 30 bucks will be a distant memory when you start using this thing, it's just "the way it should be". Everything works naturally, it's so fast, it's just a joy to use after you've suffered with a regular fitting for, well, your entire life!

Frankly, over a long enough period of time, this thing will probably save me money because I'm not going to think "Man, I really should lube that zerk, but.. It'll be fine until next week" and then wind up with a worn bearing that would have been avoided if I hadn't been dreaming up excuses to not have my stupid grease gun fitting get stuck on that zerk and bang my knuckles getting it off. I'm probably greasing 2-3X as often now, and if I see something that even seems a little dry, I'll just swing by the barn and put a pump or 2 of grease in. Easy as can be, 2 seconds to connect, 2 to disconnect, a pump or 2.. 15 seconds, max, and I know it's not going to be a wrestling match going on or off.

Thanks for the advice on this one guys, just wanted to pass along my experience, great suggestion! If you're greasing even dozens of zerks, just get it. You'll be happy you did!
Yep.

I never researched one before I bought one, I just thought it looked like a good idea and was worth a shot. However, when they are sitting at the front counter at the dealership(s) with a $50-60 price tag, not so much.

The moment I saw one on Amazon for $30, it was a done deal. I ordered one for my Dad on the farm and saw it still in the package on the bench for months. He didn't seem convinced he needed it, and I need to check in to see if he ever actually gave it whirl. I can't see how anyone wouldn't like it.

It is just an old guys: "I have been using my old lever style grease gun forever, and it works just fine for me" type thing.
I bought a DeWalt 20V grease gun last Fall.
Just decided to try it today (July 18).....WOW....it is GREAT!
My lever style grease guns will NEVER be used again!

I bought him an air greaser for Christmas 20 years ago (cordless guns were common back then) and he was definitely sold on it. We had a IH round baler that had a ton of zerks that needed daily greasing, and the air greaser was a game changer. He replaced it at some point when it quit, but a cordless greaser is on the horizon.

Yep, could it be grease? Maybe they tested it before shipping it.

Not wax, not grease, plastic. It holds the slide on part on the zerk and the tiny hole pumps it into the zerk past the one way ball valve.

I forgot to add, I still have to swap out for my old (regular) fitting to get to a couple of fittings on my Kubota (clutch release bearing which you have to pass the hose through a hole in the frame, and some of the u-joints which the LNL doesn't seem to fit onto quite right).
