This is why a LNL coupler is superior and faster and make greasing much more fun.

Gotta say you have a funny sense of FUN !

But I do agree, power greaser plus LNL sure makes the task tolerable.
Saves clothing as a side benefit.

Learned a trick the other day.

Hands were extremely black, dirty greasy and the phone rang.
Had a can of WD40 nearby so I did a quick spray and grabbed a handy Scott towel to wipe the excess.
To my surprise my healthy pink skin was virtually like B4 I started the messy job.

The yucky greasy goop simply floated away better that most hand cleaners did.

I'll have to remember this one. I always have a can of WD40 around and i don't always take the time to put gloves on, they can be a bit slick when trying to get onto a difficult zerk.

I'm enjoying this discussion just as much today as the first time. Always interesting to read what's difficult versus easy for us men.

I often pump more than one tube of grease during a session. The LnL makes that more cumbersome and takes more time.

The LnL has one, and only one advantage. Easier to remove under pressure. But I don't tolerate a zerk that won't take geease so that's rare.

I'm glad you guys enjoy the LnL so much. If memory serves me correctly it was first designed and sold in Australia.

Bought a LNL and stuck it in a toolbox drawer I rarely open, finally remembered the LNL last time I lubed the tractor [Lincoln gun, non-powered]. Mark me down as a fan. I spent zero time cleaning up the extra grease that "leaked" all over a few zerks because there was no leaking. As to the question earlier about can the LNL leak, possibly, but mine hasn't yet though I've only hit about a hundred zerks so far. So, LNL faster for me and pretty much no clean-up time.

I bought a regular LnL, but found it was too large in diameter to fit into the Zerk fitting recesses on the tractor FEL. It is plenty long enough, but too big otherwise. Does the XL LnL have the same tip end diameter as the regular? It would have to be only slightly smaller to work. I may just try chucking it up in the lathe and turning it down a bit. Thanks

I have the standard LNL & XL... I don't recall one being any girthier than the other, just longer.

OK, now you're confusing me. I picked up one at my LS dealer called G.Coupler. The company shows as being based in SA. So, which came first, chicken, egg, LnL or G.Coupler?

Correct Russell teamed up with the South African inventor of a new locking grease coupler to bring their product to North America and create the LockNLube brand

Thanks for that info... never heard of a G.coupler. It is quite a bit cheaper than the LnL, plus I like how the pins "grab" the zerk and it doesn't wobble

Is it thick enough to shave any off without making it weaker?
