Still in the options menu which you can access in flight (or I believe you can at least).

The X Star used a simple rolling switch. Easy to use to make instant changes inflight without having to hover and make setting changes. Came in handy when turning toward/away from light or angling the camera down/up.

The EVO II makes these adjustments but does it too slow. For example, if shooting video and changing the aim of the camera there is a short time of too dark or too light before the computer makes the adjustment. Since non of the controls have the ability to make this change, I think I'm stuck with it. Will just require an adjustment to my flight style.

One of Stihl's larger backpack blowers.

That would definitely test the Drone's stability!!!! :)

I have noticed the EVO II is much more stable than the X Star. The X Star's gimble worked so good that instability was rarely visible in video.

I think the technology is still improving in regards to stable flight.

I have been busy writing LOTs of emails lately and FIMI head Office have requested all the info I can give them re my drone saga. Hopefully some resolve in the not too distant future.

Not to derail this thread but where do you guys buy replacement parts?

I crashed my mini air and need a new gimbal frame... camera is fine.

Drone privileged is under attack, sad. Its like my other hobbies, like ATVing, and Jeeping. Seems if it isnt protected under the constitution then the fun nazis will work to ban them. Even some items in the constitution are under attack.

That being said, my Mavic Air drone is my first and will be the last drone I will ever own-too many restricitons for a hobby toy.

No derail at all.

I'm able to get what I need direct from Autel Robotics.

I'm not sure about DJI. Hopefully someone can chime in with a solution.

I've worried about this since I bought my first Drone. I try to not accelerate the problem. I don't abuse people with my Drone. I don't buzz crowds or hover over them. I don't fly low over or around people's homesteads without permission first.

I was concerned when I heard that zoom cameras are now available. Even though it's digital zoom, it still can be invasive.

My new Drone has this feature. At 1,000ft distance I can zoom in on my house until it fills the picture. At that distance you'll not know I'm there and/or potentially looking at you. Even if you possibly see me, you won't be able to tell if I'm looking at you or not.

So all I can do is be polite and considerate.

As with several "hobbies" in this great nation, Droning is growing at such an alarming rate that it will become extremely hard for any sort of laws/rules to be enforced.

One method of enforcement that I am fully in favor of is identification tracking. My Drone should emit a signal that identifies it. That signal could be gathered by LEO to enforce any laws/rules I am breaking.

Do you have the DJI Mavic Zoom?
