Go to google maps and look up the dealer and go to street view. One of his pictures shows Globe Lighting in the back ground so you can get a reference point. He's basically in a small cubical type strip mall/warehouse with about 2 parking spots. He appears to be a real company, but something doesn't seem right.

Good investigative skills!

I took google street view all the way around that block and I see Motorcycle Warehouse is behind those shops that face the street. From the back street you can see a motorcycle customer (Harley shirt), and bikes are visible through a door. Going down the back street in the next block, the spot behind Dave's Bridal is where they took the tractor for the photo.

Returning out front on the boulevard, there is a single Kei (miniature) truck on display. I didn't see any more tractors.

Google map/earth cars have been most places around the world. Including some of the backroads in Africa. When you're wandering around on the internet, try it out. I found one place where they had interior photos of shopping malls in Africa. And some of those wood carvings along the road side in Namibia (north of Windhoek) are truly amazing.

Ever want to take a trip around Tahiti? You can use street view and drive around the Island from your living room - cast your PC to your TV and take the whole family along.

Great, we can all see the finer details of Africa, but I can't see down my street !!!! Once I get to a cross-road, it stops. The car must have made a turn and never came up our way.

There are google car bloopers. I like following those. At my old place and a few roads over, the google car didn't know what was the road or a pasture tractor lane. Needless to say, it followed that pasture for 3-miles.

The place does offer motorcycles too. Makes sense to see those. I did the CL SEE MORE FROM THIS USER, and motorcycles was a huge part of their business.

Darn it 3T I read your post and it cost me 3 hours of my life. :) Tracing roads and photo-location dots in the Game Preserve area of Botswana then across Namibia to the Atlantic, and as you suggested, photo locations north of Windhoek.

Elder Daughter did her Semester Abroad at a university in South Africa. Then a couple of fearless German girls convinced her to join them on a road trip before going home. Your post reminded me there might now be Google Street View for some of the places she described.

The 3 blondes in rural Africa where white people are mostly fly-in guests for $500/day game safaris or wealthy secluded farmers, were a novelty. They went north through Zimbabwe to Victoria Falls, then west across the game preserve area of Botswana and the Kalahari desert of Namibia to the Atlantic, then north to the border with Angola. There they realized things were getting serious when the Angolan border guards screamed at them don't come any closer. They suddenly remembered what Angola is most famous for ... land mines all over the place. They retreated. Then drove back to Johannesburg to fly home. An adventure of a lifetime! We love seeing her photos.

Long ago I posted about Younger Daughter's Semester Abroad in New Delhi. We visited her and I took a lot of photos. Here are some tractor pix. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4-Jeeps and 5-My favorite.

Anyhow thanks for posting that. Have you been to Namibia?

Similar here. I'm a quarter mile in from the paved county road, on a one-lane easement that ends at my neighbor's. Google street view came down the easement until they got to the neighbor's Keep Out sign beyond me. Obviously they had to back out a few hundred feet.

But now our lane no longer is shown in recent versions of Street View. Whahappened??? Was I supposed to pay or something?

I need to go look at google bloopers!

California-You are exactly right, Yanmar's are high, narrow and a little spooky. Coupled with a loader, and load they are definitely requiring a great deal of care. That is the only aspect of mine I dislike. I'm always super careful with it on hills etc.
Being in Canada, the regulations are a little different (read aren't any really) and I've thought several times about getting an ROPS to add on but just never did it. Reading all this has prompted me to get off my duff and order one from Hoyes and install it.
When you've made this many years safely no point in testing fate!

Great decision!

Somebody posted here "We had a YM240 at the plant. All flat, paved. We occasionally looked out after hearing a racket saw it laying on its side with the loader raised all the way up".

After thinking about that I bought the ROPS as soon as it became available. My orchard is 100% slopes.
