4707

Wow, this is great. I was thinking the other day it seemed like the music was not so stellar. Thank you for posting on this!

How has your tractor been? Mine has been good minus some squeaks/rattles in frame and on seat. I need to now get it checked out before warranty. Just sounds like maybe came a little loose. Then some sort of knocking sound sometimes after using brake like in the transfer case somewhere bc it uses the 4wheel drive for braking. 200 hrs though and that is it. Love it otherwise but tempted after warranty period to get a little more hp from the computer. Idk if I will actually do it. Sometimes going up some steeper hills with mower it will bog down a little more than i would like.

Just remember it is still a 4 inch speaker so still no mid bass and lower. The separation between frequencies and extra highs makes everything clearer. I am still thinking about a shallow powered sub behind the seat or in the map pocket. Black Friday/Monday is coming up so that is a good time to buy. I need to replace all the lights too so I see a few projects coming in December.

I had a clunk in the trans a few times and a software update seems to have fixed it so take it in if you can and ask about a update. I still love it. I am trying to justify the cost of the HP increase by the increase in fuel economy offsetting the price.

I want to lightly ceramic tint the windows for UV but my guy is in downtown Austin TX and I my trailer is 32 feet through tight streets. With curvy windows they have to use a heat gun to make it right and you need someone with years of heat gun experience or it will be slightly distorted in the curves. If I do it I will try to get some pics.

particularly now that it's getting colder, remember to start and warm up the 4707 with the trans lever in neutral, not just the power reverser.
Once I started doing that (the proper way...) I never got any jumpiness at idle any more. And they did a flash on my trans also.

Just wanted to pass on recent pricing quote from Brunos ( Arkansas) on a 4707 ; 2019 model with 931x loader , Air Suspension Seat , 2 Sets Rear Remotes , delivered 47,800 . He says he has two on the lot if anyone is interested . My budget is still a little short and I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger . Hope this helps . BTW Daugen I appreciate all the info you have provided with your tractor and I certainly hope you get to feeling better.

That’s great to know. Thank you!

I have both a 1754 and a 4707. For getting heavy work done, there is no comparison as mass realy matters. The only downside I致e experienced with the 4707 is it burns considerably more fuel than the 1754. Glad I have both as the 1754 allows me to travel on trails and get in corners I壇 never take the 4707. I put a severe duty grapple on the 4707 and it is a beast (we are constantly dealing with down trees). I probably won稚 do much bushhogging with the 4707....too wide and too thirsty compared to my other tractors.

Hey it may be too thirsty still, but have you tried the 540E setting when running the bushhog? I leave E on with my 10’ and it can really cut a lot and not use too much fuel.

Hey does anyone know how to turn the self leveling part off on the 936x? Or maybe it’s not possible?

It's mechanical linkage. You can't turn it off. That is, unless you take your loader off.

I got a quote from our local dealer: new MF 4707, FL3615 self leveling loader, HD bucket, cab for $55K cash price.

I can do without the HD bucket (we have other buckets on the farm that we can use), but I think I'd want the air seat vs. the mechanical suspension, so that would probably be a wash.

Thanks for the self leveling piece- I wondered that may be the case since they called it mechanical self leveling..

Hmm, seems a tad high than it was about 2 years ago, but, I had some quote me that as well. So I kept looking. Thankfully another that wasn’t too far away was in mid 40s. I really like the air seat.. self leveling 936x, high vis glass roof, I had them take the 34” tires off though bc I didn’t want/need the bigger tires and swap with another. I’ve got a little over 200 hrs and besides this clunk sometimes after braking (something with the 4wheel braking) and probably needing transmission flashed, it’s been great. Love it. 4707. I would have looked at the (m4?) Kubota but they were a good 9+ months before it was going to come out. I don’t like the skinny Kubota ag tires though. They may have the similar tires to the MF now, idk, I haven’t looked at it in a good while at all the details.

BTW, the only reason I'm considering a 4707 is they are now being made in Brazil. If they were still solely made in China, that'd be a no-go.
