in catholic schools, we always was hearing from the nuns (who dont get nun and dont want nun) about heretics and heresy's......
I'm thinking Lake Corona will be filling as we debate... and next major construction will be late spring. Hope not. Love the thead.
2020-12-07_06-11-53I'm afraid you may be correct. Trackloader was dropped off to the dealer today. Loss of power and feels like I'm running a 60 horse machine instead of 90. My guess is I have an injector not firing. I tried to limp it along to finish up but it was just painfully slow and finally decided to take it in. Only had one small area in the center top of the dam to finish up. I'm afraid the ground may be frozen by the time I get it back. You can see how much better the slope is now in this pic.

A quick loaner from your dealer, to finish in a crisis?
I know how you feel... and conversely why I don't loan anything that might not get back, for just about any reason anymore. Emergencies excluded.I'm sure they would if I asked but not a big deaI if I have to wait a few months for warmer weather. I prefer not to borrow stuff unless I'm really in a bind and this doesn't qualify. Seems that something always breaks when I borrow something.

We're supposed to get rain Friday and snow Saturday. Small amounts. But enough to stop dirt moving.
I really like the new slope!!!
I commend you on your diligence. You have faced a LOT of obstacles in this project. I've never heard any waivering in your comments. Always positive.
Attitude is 90% of life.![]()
Is the work to be done all above future water level?
You must have much more patience than I do.I think I'd have to rent something for the weekend and get the areas that will soon be underwater, completed before winter.
Gentlemen... it was just a **** typo/grammar error, not paying attention. Late night posting gets me in trouble. But I do kind of like heresy... who knows, maybe it is applicable.![]()
Love this outlook and I feel the same way for the most part. Sometimes I have to stop and reset myself though as it is easy to get sucked into conversations with complaining coworkers and such. We have it good and many don't want to realize that.Well I figure what's done is done. What ifs don't have a lot of use in my life. I figure the past is good for learning from but not so much for dwelling on. Also I've been overseas and seen how a lot of people in this world live. I'm lucky enough to understand how unbelievably blessed I am. Because of that I tend to have a pretty positive outlook on life in general. Especially considering we are all on borrowed time, I prefer not to spend it on the negative.

2020-12-20_12-35-20I did not know that! Regardless of fish species? And what will be stocked, bass? Around here it would be trout but maybe summer temps too hot there for them?Looks really nice.
For habitat, remember that fish spend 90% of their time in the top 4 feet of the water. For the habitat to be useful, it needs to be near the surface of the water.
