They actually are still making payments on that ... Something like 1.2 billion still owed? My point was they DIDN"T file as was stated...

HENRY FORD担 BANKRUPTCY | Jeffrey B. Irby, P.C.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
No, they didn't file in 2007-2008. Pure luck. It's all about timing.
:cool2:
Before he made a name in the automotive industry, Henry Ford made some business missteps and had to file for bankruptcy. Twice.
The first time Ford had to file was with his Detroit Automobile Company which was backed by three prominent politicians (who Ford blamed for the financial default and became obsessed with getting rid of).
His second attempt, the Henry Ford Company, met with the same bankruptcy fate. While he had managed to distance himself from the bother of his investors – having complete say was the downfall. Ford’s perfectionism resulted in too few cars being produced.
And Henry Ford declared bankruptcy, twice. 1901 and again in 1903.
And the only reason they escaped bankruptcy in 2008 was because they mortgaged the entire company in 2006, which was considered and act of desperation at the time. It was all timing. Had they waited until 2008, they, too, would have gone bankrupt. Pure luck.
Do some research bubba, Ford never filed for bankruptcy. Wanna change your B.S. story?
GM, Ford, Chrysler almost died during financial crisis, changes since - Business Insider
But they did take bailout money. Same pants, different pocket.
>>>>Ford Credit received its bailout from the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility, not TARP. That was a government program for auto, student, and other consumer loans . The federal government took over GM and Chrysler in March 2009.<<<<<<
And they are about to the point they will fold up if they don't get some help soon.
