The floor in our kitchen is not completely level, but it has be shored up so it won't get farther out of level.
We are going to use a vinyl plank flooring.
I want to get the floor as close to level as possible with self leveling concrete over the plywood sub floor.
However, some of the areas are going to require 5/8" of of additional material to bring them up to level.
This amount is going to be costly with just self leveling concrete.
Can I add another layer of either plywood or say concrete backer board to reduce the volume of self leveling concrete required to bring the low spot up to grade?
