Gloves or Mittens

They would KILL my glove budget for the next five years.

It beats frostbite. I can't work in winter without decent clothing... for me it's literally a matter of life and death.

I can't work with the big bulky gloves. Plus I like my cheap cotton gloves because you can spoil yourself with a fresh pair for a dollar or so and throw soiled or holey ones in the stove. Nice to wear clean gloves.

To each their own. I can't work with frozen fingers... literally.

I don’t work with them. I wear them while I’m waiting to work, shoot, go for walk, run a snowblower, etc

From my years in Alaska - I've got down work clothing - head to toe. Two complete sets - Eddie Bauer and Alpine Design. But not any more ..... If it's so darn cold that I need to dress and look like the Pillsbury Dough Boy - I just remain inside. My feet have alway been OK in the cold - it's my hands. My hands get cold - then my whole body starts getting cold. It just isn't worth it.

Sleeping on an army cot right out in the open. Doubled down sleeping bags. Getting up to start the day's moose hunt - minus 35F. I was young then and must have been crazy. Late moose hunting season was always an experience. ....... in so many ways.

There's the old adage: "There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing." Sometimes it is appropriate to wear one's house.

It's -4' F right now as I'm getting ready to get out of the truck. Anybody who can work barehanded in snow covered trees in these temps is a lot more man than I am.

I bought some of these recently. They aren’t for extreme cold but they are comfortable and have been durable so far.

I just purchased these Milwaukee heated gloves a few days ago.

Purchased their heated jacket/pockets a few years ago and it's worth every penny/dime/dollars...

I should of purchased these gloves many years ago because I'm sure it would of eliminated a lot of freezing cold finger pain.
