Same here Rick on the predicted lows for Tuesday, all over the place, anywhere from -1 to 9˚F here.

Temp was suppose to stay steady today at 23˚F but it's dropping, now 21˚F.

What Big Brother doesn't seem to know is .. I bought the current TurboTax months ago.

But at least I do have a good supply of 81MM mortar rounds.
And a room full of .50 cal.

Quick question.
Will a gas stove light with a match if the power goes off or is there some safety device that will not let the gas flow?

Does CO keep you from using the stove normally? Does your home have a fresh air vent in the HVAC? You could crack a window (like the old windows of yesteryear) if you believe your O2 levels get too low.

My dad got his 2nd vaccine last week.

My brother is still in hospital. His son is asking if someone can go down this week, as he needs to go back to work.

Good for your dad, hope brother gets better.

I hope Ted is doing ok. He's been in a lot of pain for a long time and it will be nice
to see him doing better. At least a lot of woodworking can be done sitting down.

Yes, prayers for Ted's knee. Also prayers for BEF, his wifey's knee, and for him getting the plumbing fixed. Prayers for our country and our team.

I'm doing well, oxygen levels still normal. Just took my D3, vitamin, and zinc supplement.

Don, It shows to be below freezing until Friday afternoon. The longest cold snap I can ever remember.

Question for the team, any guesses if my shallow pond will freeze over? (Average depth about 3-5') We have been at or below freezing for 3 or 4 days now, and 5 days ahead of us.

There is a little quirk with TurboTax and Arkansas state taxes, where your better off to just have someone do your taxes for you.

The issue is with filing jointly versus separately.

Federal we file jointly, on the state taxes we file separately. Which the one time we tried turbo tax it wouldn't allow us to do.

Arkansas state taxes are weird. If a married couple files jointly on the state taxes, you are guaranteed to owe money to the state. If you do married filing separately, you both will get money back from the state.

That skunk died last night. I found it by the sidewalk this AM. Will have to call the health department in the AM.

Well the hoarders are messing with my chi

Had a nice breakfast planned for my wife this morning. Was gonna make homemade buttermilk pancakes and bacon for breakfast.

Well the hoarders struck and cleaned the grocery store out of all milk.

So today's romantic breakfast consists of toaster waffles and bacon
