Lol. As in into the yard area from the dog run. It has been going back and forth by the windows now...I guess looking for grubs by the mulch areas.

I offered to shoot it...wife wants a have a heart..... I said no because I am not relocating it in this ice mess.

My grandparents had 3 gas space heaters with no vents. But I do remember sitting next to a wood window (the kind with weights in the wall) and feeling a lot of cold air.
Did you get headaches much?

My grandmother’s house had several gas heaters as it’s only heat source, none were vented. Lots of air leaks.
Dads stove and oven is gas, no vent. The gas furnace and water heater have vents. House is reasonably tight.

With expected single digit temps coming Tuesday I was a bit concerned with the exposed water line from our well before it enters the utilities room.

An extension cord, plug in socket, a couple of ty-wraps, and a 100 watt incandescent bulb later .. Viola!

This is in a cedar fence enclosed area but didn’t want to take a chance when solution was so simple. I need to figure out how to monitor temperature inside. Maybe drill a small hole and use a probe thermometer?

Dads well in Ohio has a shallow well pump that sits on top of the well, exposed. Water line then goes into the ground to the house approx 2000 ft away. He puts batt insulation around it, and when extreme cold he uses a heat lamp, probably 150w. Rarely freezes, but if below 0° too long we have had to thaw the line before.

Your 100 watt bulb is going to be plenty,
I'd put a bale of hay on those water lines.

I’d put a pitless adapter 3 ft underground and bury it all.

Finally got the pics scanned in the 3rd album. All 3 were the self stick kind, and this last one the pictures were stuck good. I finally came up with a decent solution to get the pics off. Tore a couple, but not bad.

DIL back at home.
They done a bunch of tests, but no results yet.
They were talking about a trip to Sudbury.

There is a pot shop I want to check out up there. I wont go to one of them with the company truck anymore than I would take the big truck to the beer store. There is GPS tracking on all of our rolling stock.

My brother is still in hospital. His son is asking if someone can go down this week, as he needs to go back to work.
